Starting Early

Early music education

What we learn

…from experimenting to intentional sounds – one by one, we bring each finger to musical life.

…from movement to rhythm – with movement games we learn the basics of rhythmic music-making.

…from listening to singing – we expand our repertoire with folk songs from many countries.

…from inner hearing to piano sound – small sung motifs are playfully transferred to the piano.

…from the keyboard pattern to the single note – we find our way around the keyboard.

…from single notes to structures – we explore musical notation.

…from the composer’s portrait to the music – we get to know the great masters and their music.

…from drawing to composing – we use musical notation creatively and meaningfully.
