In brief
This website does not use any analytics or advertising services, does not embed content from Google or social networks and does not set cookies for visitors. Fonts are loaded from our own server. We only process personal data when you write to us, subscribe to the newsletter or take lessons with us.
Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany, on servers in Germany. When pages are accessed, the server automatically stores technical information (e.g. IP address, date and time, page accessed, browser). This is necessary for the secure operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The logs are deleted after a short time. A data processing agreement is in place with the provider.
Contact form and e-mail
If you write to us via the contact form or by e-mail, we use your details (name, e-mail address, phone number if provided and your message) solely to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Enquiries from the form are automatically deleted from the website after 90 days. Your data is not passed on to third parties.
Student accounts (“Mein playy”)
For our students we store the details required for the lessons and the lesson contract (contact details, parents’ details for minors, lesson times, contract and payment information). They are visible only to the student and to the teacher. For the practice book, the teacher may dictate practice tasks after the lesson, which an AI service (Anthropic PBC, USA) turns into a clear text. Only the first name, the age, the dictation and the previous task are transmitted. Anthropic does not use this data to train its models. The transfer to the USA is based on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 GDPR).
Newsletter
Our newsletter informs you a few times a year about concerts, class lessons, courses and dates. If you sign up on the website, you will first receive an e-mail with a confirmation link (double opt-in); your address is only added after confirmation (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Students and parents also receive the “Lesson information” with organisational information about the lessons (dates, holidays); this is part of performing the lesson contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). They, too, only receive the newsletter “playy aktuell” (concerts, courses, online learning) if they have agreed – via the checkbox when registering for lessons or the confirmation link in our e-mail.
We store the e-mail address, the language and the time of subscription or confirmation. The newsletter is sent via Amazon Simple Email Service (Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, Luxembourg; data centre in Frankfurt) under a data processing agreement. The service reports undeliverable addresses and complaints back to us; such addresses are removed automatically. We do not track whether or when newsletters are opened.
You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every newsletter or by e-mail to info@playy.de.
Cookies
Only when you log in as a user is a technically necessary session cookie set. No cookies are used for any other visitors.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict the processing of your data, the right to data portability and the right to object to processing. Simply contact us at the address above.
You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
